We are committed to providing lessons that are designed to be thought-provoking and inspire young people to want to step into their role as a leader!
PAS aspires to build on the good that is innate in each student, believing the best in them, and empowering them to do the same. As you utilize this curriculum, we ask that you approach each student in your care as a vessel that needs to be filled with all the promising attributes that may have been hidden up to this point. Each student is an opportunity to pour in positive character-building life skills!
Looking forward to working together as we help to build leaders!
With great expectations,

Unit 1: IDENTITY: Who Am I?
(1st nine weeks)
Description: The foundation of identity is built using history, culture, family, and perceived strengths and weaknesses.
Unit 2: “BIRD’S-EYE VIEW”
(2nd 9 weeks)
Description: This phase focuses on establishing a "Bird’s-eye View" into the foundational blocks of the “Identity” that students have, and we use role modeling, activities, and discussion to delve into mindsets that need to be strengthened and those that may need to be restructured.
Unit 3: Community Engagement
(3rd nine weeks)
Description: Focus is on connecting all three phases to become a bridge to our community at large (citizenship, behavior, grades, role in society, family, peer groups)
Unit 4: Project Showcase
(4th nine weeks)
For the young elementary student, the activities are done in groups, not completed independently. Teachers will adapt each lesson using their page without the activity page.
