Unit 1 Summary and Unit 2 Introduction
Congratulations on completing Unit 1 of Plant A Seed Elementary. We believe together we can make a difference for these young students by focusing on building, preventing, and supporting healthy growth and moral development.
Our Unit 1 focused on the concept of personal identity. By introducing positive identity characteristics and exploring how they relate to each student, we are able to build seeds that start a foundation of self respect.

Unit 2 will bridge the "I have value" awareness to the "I bring value" action. We will begin with an important concept of a CHECK IN wheel. Students will create in Lesson 1 and every class will begin
with a 3-5 minute "check in" to evaluate classroom temperature.
Resources and activities for the lesson as well as the next lesson will be listed in the Lesson Resources on the right hand of every lesson.
